Tyler Cowen: Be Suspicious of Stories

An interesting talk about human’s nature to choose narratives over acceptance of messiness of the reality.

This concept of “accepting reality as it is”, is very important for traders to remember when they are dealing with the markets. However, most people are out of practice to do that because outside of grade school we are never forced to do so, especially on things about ourselves.
